Advantages of the OCM Adjustable Joist Hanger:
• Eliminates the need for traditional cast-in hangers and working parts
• Very strong product which reduces both material and labor
• Fully reusable including all lumber and decking material
• Easy adjustment of deck elevation using the screw jack; accommodates up to a 2×12
• Tapered lip to allow for ease of removal; no plastic shield or sleeve required

Installation:
• Place the top lip of the joist hanger on top of the beam flange
• Insert the 2x joist lumber into each joist hanger directly across from each other
• Adjust the screw jack to raise or lower the 2x joist lumber to the proper elevation to support formwork

Removal:
• Release the screw jack to drop the 2x joist lumber
• Remove the joist hangers
• Strip the remaining formwork

Note: Proper installation of the joist hangers is based on correct joist size, span length, loading conditions, and plywood deflection
